Ethics: Are you walking the talk?

This is a workshop which looks at the practices by which professionals working with young children are guided. It reviews both the national Ethics developed by the Canadian Child Care Federation, and the Alberta Code that was adopted previously by the Early Childhood Professionals Association of Alberta. Professionalism is the ability to plan knowledgeably and competently to make a sustained difference; to diagnose and analyse experiences; to select the most appropriate interventions, to apply them skilfully, and to describe why they were selected. Creating “Evidence” of Ethics in practice for portfolios (Follow up to Ethics: The Journey).  This workshop explores creative strategies for actively implementing Ethics in action.
