With an increased focus on meeting standards of excellence and providing evidence to meeting annual agency goals and objectives, ARCQE is pleased to introduce “Agency passports”… These 4x6 booklets have been specifically designed to enable centres to highlight their efforts in working towards continuous quality improvement and showcasing centre accomplishments and achievements relating to workshops and services contracted through ARCQE.
Each passport will include:

• The Canadian Child Care Federation’s 8 principles of Ethical practice
• The Early Childhood Professional Association of Alberta’s Code of Conduct
• 40 photo window pages made to fit and display ARCQE’s 4x6 centre certificates

The Birch Bark Basket project promotes understanding and appreciation of Aboriginal societies in ways that are consistent with best and promising practices for young children. The Birch Bark Basket learning resources have been designed to help early childhood programs sensitively and appropriately integrate Aboriginal content (First Nations and Métis) into their day-to-day activities.
