Mentor Generalist

This mentor is used as a resource to support on site practical strategies with programs in accreditation as well as programs such as child care, family child care, drop-in care, out of school care, preschools, headstart and others looking to enhance the quality of their overall program.

  • Do you have experience working in an accredited center?
  • Do you have a minimum of five years direct early learning experience?
  • Do you currently possess education and/or have provincial certification in Early Learning and Care?
  • Do you like to share your experience with other early learning professionals?

If you answered yes to some or all of these questions, then you may have the qualifications to become a mentor.

Mentor Specialist

If you have an area of expertise, extensive experience or specialized training related to the education, health, inclusion or care of young children, you could be a mentor specialist.

  • Do you possess unique knowledge that could be shared with professionals and parents?
  • Do you currently facilitate programs related to work with young children and their families?
  • Do you possess unique cultural information you would like to share?
